Business Development Manager, New Energy
Your role
Responsible for new energy market research, primarily targeting end-user battery clients. Through client networking and on-site communication, gathering market intelligence and bidding information to support the sales team in industry expansion.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain effective connections with end-user battery clients to obtain first-hand market intelligence.
Understand clients' vendor registration processes, tender volumes, and timelines; collect relevant bidding information.
Travel as needed and proactively conduct on-site research at client locations.
Promptly relay gathered information and opportunity leads to support sales colleagues in expanding industry clients.
What we expect
Required:
Driven and self-motivated, with strong communication skills and the ability to proactively build relationships.
Willing to travel and prefers conducting work through on-site visits.
Experience in new energy, battery, or related industries is preferred.
Preferred:
Sales experience in core components such as X-ray detectors, micro-focus X-ray tubes, or X-ray equipment.
Location
This position is based in Shanghai, China, with close collaboration with our global teams. You will be reporting to the Director, Sales & Operations • DTS.
