Trainee/Thesis worker, Assembly Process Development
We have an opening for internship in our Assembly Process Development team in Oulu. You will participate in a development of new semiconductor and electronics assembly and interconnection technologies, processes, equipment and materials to be used in manufacturing of our products. You will also support in our cleanroom production (Process engineering, Equipment maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting) and reliability testing and failure analysis (E.g. operation and maintenance of environmental test chambers and failure analysis equipment). This assignment can continue with a thesis after the internship period.
What we expect
Master/post-graduate student in an area of microelectronics, mechanical, materials or production technology engineering or chemistry
Have a basic understanding of design, manufacturing, electrical testing and reliability testing/qualification of electronic components (IC and package), printed circuit boards and electronics (board assemblies/PCBAs)
Good interpersonal skills to enable daily work in global team of people from different ethnic and cultural background
Previous work experience from semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry is a plus
Knowledge of semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry; component, manufacturing service and manufacturing equipment suppliers, research institutes, equipment manufacturers, is a plus

Location
This position is based either in Oulu with close collaboration with our global teams. You will be reporting to the Head of Technology.
