Design Engineer, Mechanics

Your role

Be in charge of mechanical design, mechanical design process for new products.

Coordinate mechanical design and development tasks including design, integration/subsystem level assembly and formal testing.

Work as mechanical design resources in assigned TC/PC programs, PM/EC projects, and technical interface with DT BU’s, suppliers and customers.

What we expect

Essential

Highly experienced using CAD Software: CREO for 2D and 3D drawings.

Experience in mechanics tolerance analysis and accurate alignment design.

Experience in PCBA board mechanical design and 3D modelling, and EMC design.

Experience in mechanical material and manufacture process selection to get the best performance/cost ratio.

Experience in product concept design/system design and 3D modelling.

Knowledge of X-Ray radiation protection design and mechanical enclosure protection design would be a plus.

Desirable

Good English and local language skills, deals or negotiates in both local and English languages.

Excellent time management and organization skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Outlook

Experience in PTC WindChill would be a plus.

Qualifications

Master or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

3 or more years of technical experience in mechanical design and development for new products.

Location

This position is based either in Beijing, China, with close collaboration with our global teams. You will be reporting to the Manager, Product Modification.
