Facility Engineer

Your role

Be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency and safety of plant facility systems (water, electricity, AC, cleanroom, ESD protection etc.,). Supporting the overall production goals of the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate with Operation (to align facility support with manufacturing needs), Production Team (to oversee daily maintenance tasks and technical guidance), EHS team (to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations), Quality Assurance (to support cleanroom and process environment quality control).
• External Partners: Engage with equipment vendors (for technical support, spare parts supply and equipment upgrades), contracted service providers (for specialized maintenance, repair or construction works), local regulatory authorities (for compliance audits and permit applications), and consulting firms (for facility optimization and project implementation).
• Cross-functional Teams: Participate in cross-departmental projects such as new production line installation, factory expansion, energy-saving initiatives, and cleanroom renovation to ensure facility infrastructure meets project requirements.

What we expect

• Bachelor’s degree or above, and major in electrical engineering, automation relevant.
• More than 5 years of facilities working experience in foreign electronic enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of building and facilities, like HVAC, Electricity, ventilation, air system, industrial and wastewater and related to facilities majors.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Good problem-solving, analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and negotiate with vendors/contractors.
• Strong sense of industry safety and cost saving.
• English can be a working language.

Location

This position is based either in Beijing China, with close collaboration with our global teams. You will be reporting to the Facility Supervisor.
